NESDA is a government entity with a special status, possessing legal personality and financial independence. It is under the authority of the Minister Commissioner responsible for small projects, in an assisting capacity to the Prime Minister. The agency provides support to project holders for the establishment and expansion of small enterprises aimed at producing goods and services.
